Why UA Tax

Accountancy with specialist tax judgement built in.

UA Tax was established to solve a familiar gap. Businesses and families often receive accurate compliance from one adviser and specialist tax input from another, but nobody connects the tax answer to the accounting evidence, cash position and practical implementation.

We combine those disciplines. Routine work is designed to create reliable information; technical advice starts from the legal and commercial facts; and each recommendation explains assumptions, risks, responsibilities and the sequence required to put it into effect.

Our size is deliberate. It gives clients direct access to senior advisers, while our experience in larger firms informs the technical standards, documentation and professional collaboration behind the service.

How we think

Four principles behind every engagement.

01

Evidence before opinion

We establish ownership, dates, records and commercial purpose before concluding which tax provisions apply.

02

One joined-up picture

Company accounts, owner tax, property and family decisions are considered together where they affect one another.

03

Direct, qualified access

Clients speak with advisers who understand the technical work and remain responsible for the recommendation.

04

Clear professional boundaries

We say when legal, valuation, investment or overseas advice is needed and coordinate rather than blur those roles.

Our team

Experienced advisers, personally involved.

The people you meet remain close to the records, analysis and final advice.

A clear path from first conversation to completed work.

  2. Agree the scope

You receive a clear description of deliverables, assumptions, responsibilities, timing and fees.

  3. Analyse and explain

We reconcile the evidence, apply the rules and communicate the conclusion in plain English.

  4. Implement carefully

Filings and third-party steps are tracked, documented and checked against the agreed advice.

Helpful detail

Frequently asked questions

Who will I deal with at UA Tax?

Clients have direct access to qualified advisers. Usman leads specialist tax work and Ahmad leads accountancy and compliance, with responsibilities agreed clearly at the outset.

Are you accountants, tax advisers or both?

Both disciplines sit within the firm. Usman is FCCA and CTA qualified, while Ahmad is FCCA qualified. That allows accounting evidence and specialist tax analysis to be considered together.

Do you advise clients throughout the UK?

Yes. We work with businesses and individuals across the UK using secure digital records and online meetings, with in-person arrangements considered where the work requires them.

Can you work alongside my solicitor or financial adviser?

Yes. Restructures, transactions, estate planning and pensions often need coordinated legal or regulated advice. We define roles and provide the tax analysis relevant to their work.

How quickly will you respond?

We aim to acknowledge and respond to routine messages within hours during working days. Technical questions may take longer to resolve properly, in which case we confirm the timetable and information needed.

How do you agree fees?

We establish the facts and scope first. Recurring services and defined projects are priced upfront where possible, with assumptions, exclusions and any work outside scope explained before it begins.
